Ruth Ann Buday

Ruth Ann Buday, 79, of Havelock, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Munden Funeral Home in Havelock, presided by Rev. Jim Buchholz. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Ruth was born on October 19,1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Edward and Helen Nemeth. She met the love of her life, Anthony, and spent over 61 beautiful years with him. Ruth cherished her marriage and her family. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Annunciation Catholic Church. Her unwavering love and commitment to her family and faith touched the hearts of all who knew her. Ruth will be remembered for her kindness, grace, and the countless lives she enriched through her years of devotion. She enjoyed spending time with her friends as a member of LAFRA Unit 141 and the Havelock Senior Citizen Group. Among her many hobbies she was also a member of the local VFW Women’s Auxiliary and the All-Women Pig Cooking Group in Newport. Ruth had a profound impact on her community and the legacy of love that she leaves behind will not be forgotten.

Those left to treasure her memory are her loving husband, Anthony of the home; daughter, Cindi LeMon (Mike) of Sparta, Georgia; sons, Mike Buday (Mitzi) of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, Ken Buday (Michele) of Havelock, Rick Buday of Havelock; sisters, Mary Lou Simko (Joe) of Columbia Station, Ohio, Elaine Nemcek (Mike) of Willoughby, Ohio; grandchildren, Chad, Jennipher, Aaron, Grant, Brady, Savannah; 9 great-grandchildren; and her precious dog, Shasta.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Kramcsak.
