Rodney "Shane" Willis

Rodney "Shane" Willis, 43, of Davis, died Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Carolina East Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Smyrna Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Kenneth Dixon officiating. Interment will follow at Oscar Davis Cemetery.
He was an artist, a friend, a brother, a cousin, and a nephew. A man who's talents were a true God given gift, with a caring creativity. A calming voice that was as smooth as his bald head. An intelligence with wisdom in his words and decisions. A caring smile that could light up a room with a certain artistic way. He always had a passion for film photography and sketching. So much that he hoped others would find the enjoyment in it that he did.
Shane you have given so many enjoyable memories to all of us along this journey. May your eternal home be filled with peace you gave us all.
He is survived by his brother Phillip Wayne Willis, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Murphy Willis, and his father Johnnie Wayne Willis.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at Smyrna Pentecostal Holiness Church.
