Phyllis Marie Burt

Phyllis Marie Burt, 86, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Crystal Coast Hospice House.

Phyllis was born on February 20, 1936, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to the late Clarence and Mary Houston. She was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bentonville, Arkansas. Anytime you would see Phyllis she almost always had her sketch book in hand. She loved sketching and documenting special family stories. Phyllis was married for many years and loved going to Beaver Lake in Arkansas and boating with her husband. She loved cats, especially playing and caring for them. They made her heart happy. Phyllis will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Those left to treasure her memory are her daughter, Kimberly Burt Koonce (Michael) of New Bern; grandchildren, Braden and Delaney Walker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith D. Burt; son, Steven G. Burt; sister, Loine Boche; and brother, Herbert Houston.
