Louisa M. Napierkowski

Louisa M. Napierkowski, 68, of Morehead City, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at her home.

Louisa was born on September 19, 1954, in Rock Island, Illinois. She spent most of her childhood in Marlton, New Jersey. Louisa had a gift for caring for people which led her to a career in nursing. She received her nursing degree at Black Hawk Community College in Davenport, Iowa. Louise worked as a scrub nurse at West Jersey Hospital System. She relocated to Morehead City in 2011.

Louisa loved Carteret County and enjoyed working in her garden. She will be cherished as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Those left to treasure her memory are her loving husband, Dr. Stanley Napierkowski of the home; daughter, Kati M. Simmons (David) of South Kings Town, Rhode Island; son, Ted R. Napierkowski (Jayna) of Phoenix, Arizona; sister, Nima Kelly (Keith) of San Francisco, California; niece, Mary Margaret Kelly of New York City, New York; grandchildren, Libby Simmons, Garrett Simmons, Parker Napierkowski, and Charlotte Napierkowski.
