June 11, 1964 — December 10, 2022

Havelock

Lonny Clouser, 58, of Havelock, North Carolina, experienced her sunset on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

Lonny’s sunrise was June 11, 1964, in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Susquenita High School in 1982 and later obtained her bachelor’s degree from Park University where she graduated Phi Theta Kappa. On November 23, 1983, she married her high school sweetheart, Earl E. Clouser, in Duncannon, Pennsylvania and they began their life and adventure together.

Lonny was a talented artist and excelled at creating masterpieces in any medium. Her most recent endeavor was making junk journals, but her passion was drawing and painting. She is a well-known artist and collaborated with artists around the world. When she wasn’t making art, Lonny loved reading and spending time with her family. She made the world beautiful with her creativity and her unfailing kindness.

Lonny was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma in September 2022. She started an aggressive course of treatment soon after diagnosis, but eventually complications made treatment impossible. Her health continued to rapidly decline until she took her last breath surrounded by her husband and daughters.

She is survived by her loving husband, Earl E. Clouser of the home; daughters, Jessica M. Swiercinsky of New Bern, NC and Lindsey J. Steele of Havelock, NC; father, Larry L. Reigel of Duncannon, PA; siblings, Tracy Murphy of Duncannon, PA, Larry Reigel Jr. of New Cumberland, PA, and Lisa Sotack of Clermont, FL; and grandchildren, Dominic, Ophelia, and Coral.

Lonny was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Reigel and sister, Lorry Rivera who was from Millersburg, PA.

Lonny requested to not hold a service; instead, she wanted everyone to be kind. To go see something beautiful today. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to:
