Judith Claire Perry

Judith Claire Perry, of Atlantic Beach, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2023, at Pruitt Health in Sea Level.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Judith's life will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, September 11th at Bayview Cemetery in Morehead City, officiated by Rev. Powell Osteen.

Born on August 27, 1933, in Morehead City, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Nell Perry. Judith was known for her kind-hearted nature and genuine care for others. She dedicated her life to education, spending 6 years teaching at Norfolk College and later 7 years at Forsyth Community College, where she passionately mentored countless students. Her dedication to shaping young minds was felt by all who had the pleasure of learning from her.

After her time in academia, Judith embarked on a fulfilling career with Civil Service at Cherry Point. For 13 years, she contributed her skills and unwavering work ethic to her role, ultimately retiring in 1996. Her commitment and professionalism made her a highly respected and valued member of the team.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Judith was an active member of the First Methodist Church of Morehead City. Her devout faith played an integral role in her life, and she found solace and joy in the fellowship of the church community. She leaves behind cherished memories of worship, compassion, and dedication to her faith.
