Josiah Atticus Bell

Baby Josiah Atticus Bell, of Cape Carteret, passed away Wednesday, May 15­, 2019, at UNC Health Care.

His memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Open Door Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Bryan Hart.

Josiah had a difficult time on earth and after 39 days, he was called home to be with Jesus. The family was blessed to have precious time with Josiah but are comforted to know that he is now peacefully at home.

He is survived by his parents, Jaredd and Elizabeth Bell; maternal grandparents, Rebekah Bittner and Randolph Owen Dodge, both of Morehead City; paternal grandparents, James Leroy and Vicki Adams Bell of Maysville; maternal great-grandparents, Dean and Betty Dodge; paternal great-grandparents, Sandra Adams and Otis and Shirley Bell; maternal aunts and uncles, Nathanael Dodge and wife Kelly, Matthew Dodge and wife Allison, Joanna Dodge Miller and husband Andrew, Christopher Dodge; paternal aunt and uncle, Darren Bell and wife Laura; and 6 cousins.
