Jennifer Townsend

Jennifer Townsend, 38, of Kinston, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.

Jennifer was born on August 15, 1984, in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Robert and Barbara Townsend.  She had an amazing personality that was obvious in her infectious laugh and happy nature. One of her favorite moments were spent with her precious son Jeremy and her family. When she had spare time, she loved playing cards, especially Solitaire and Spades. Jennifer was always there for anyone who needed her help, with her selfless quality. Honey buns and cheese puffs were her go to snack, washed down with an ice cold Mountain Dew. Jennifer will be deeply cherished and missed.

She is survived by her son, Jeremy Robertson; sisters, Tracey, Marquetta, and Carla Townsend; brother in law, Steven Blackburn; nieces, Taniyah Hall Townsend, Jasmine Hall Townsend; nephews, Xavier Blackburn, Messiah Blackburn, Robert Townsend; great niece, Skylar Davis; and great nephew, Sky Davis.
