James Bruce Ellington Jr.

James “Jake” Bruce Ellington Jr., 47, passed away February 22, 2021, at Lenoir Health Care in Kinston.

The family will celebrate his life at a later date.

James or Jake as he was more commonly known, was born on March 22, 1973, in Atlanta, Georgia to James Ellington and Wanda Campbell.

He is survived by his mother, Wanda Campbell; grandmother, Emma Ellington; 2 sisters, Kim and Kathy; 1 brother, JP; 2 uncles, John “C.C.” and Paul; nieces, Kala and Elizabeth; his beloved sidekick, Penny.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Ellington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital at 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa FL 33607.
