Eddie Wayne Glancy

Eddie Wayne Glancy, 70, of Havelock, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Cherry Point Bay.

His memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 27th at Reece’s Chapel in Mill Creek, officiated by Rev. James Chadwick.

Eddie was born on August 9, 1951, in Morehead City, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty D. Glancy; sister, Debbie Glancy Parnin of Greenville; niece, Candi Whaley (Johnny) of Newport; brothers-in-law, David Davisworth and Edwin Davisworth; nephews, John Parnin (Jordan) of Greenville, Justin Parnin of Greenville; great nephew, Logan Richardson of Mill Creek; and great niece, Charlotte Rae Parnin of Greenville.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Edna Glancy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Reece’s Chapel.
