Obituary
Debbie L. Stotts, 65, of Newport, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Carteret Health Care.
Debbie was born on July 27, 1957, to the late Woodrow and Allie Stotts. Born and raised in Michigan City, Indiana, she later moved to the coast of North Carolina where she lived in Carteret County for over 20 years. The Crystal Coast was a wonderful fit for her love of fishing and boating. Debbie was known for her incredible artistic ability which could be seen in everything she touched.
Those remaining to treasure her memory include her loving daughter, Tisha Louella of Westfield, IN; siblings, Chester Morris (Glenda) of Houston, TX, Melvin Stotts (Debbie) of Jeffersonville, IN and Darlene DeVries of Wheatfield, IN; grandchildren, Gabriel Welch (Emily) of Michigan, Bryceton Welch-Hurt (Mettie) of Kokomo, IN, Rocco Christian, Zayn Christian, Keini Christian and Willow Christian, all of Westfield, IN; great-grandson, Ezekiel Welch-Hurt of Kokomo, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
