David "Dave" Bilichka

David “Dave” Bilichka, 69, of New Bern, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Crystal Coast Hospice House.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.

Dave was born on February 25, 1954, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to the late George and Charlotte Bilichka. He pursued a career in machinery and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. He spent his time freely with the local youth in the area. Dave was a true sport enthusiast, especially football. He coached Tucker Creek Middle School football, Havelock JV, and Pop Warner football.

Dave was married to his wife for over 43 years, they shared many special memories together. When you think of Dave your first thought is his undeniable love for his family. He will be forever cherished as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Those left to treasure his memory are his loving wife, Val Bilichka of the home; sons, Sean Bilichka (Maria) of Clayton, NC, Colin Bilichka (Susanna) of Durham, NC; brothers, Dan Bilichka (Lana) of Stratford, CT, John Bilichka of Bridgeport, CT; grandchildren, Wesley Bilichka, Finn Bilichka, Brendan Bilichka, Remy Bilichka; his precious dogs, Mars and Pogo, and his cat Gracie.
