Cora Buck Bell, 71, of Morehead City, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at her home.

Her funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery.

Mrs. Cora was a server at Mrs. Willis’Restaurant for 25 years. Following Mrs. Willis’, she operated a cleaning service with Cheryl Morris. She was the most generous person the family knew who always put them ahead of herself. She always looked out for others, and many people benefitted from her generosity through her kind acts. She also volunteered for the American Heart Association. She had a green thumb and could grow anything. She is irreplaceable.

She is survived by three sons, Donny Baber and wife Jackie and Kevin Bell and fiancée Judy Delong all of Morehead City, and Martin Bell, III of the home; previous husband, Mart Bell, Jr. of Morehead City; two brothers, Billy Buck and wife Jeri of Newport, and Jeff Buck of Morehead City; two sisters, Lucy Ketner and husband Wayne of Wildwood, and Sue Bell of Morehead City; grandchildren, Emme Baber, Lindsay Baber, Alex Bell, and Cameron Bell; special niece, Lindy Wilson; and many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Libbie Guthrie Buck and Leo Buck; brother, Steve Buck; and brother-in-law, John Bell.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Temple Baptist Church.
