Obituary
Bruce Robert Johnson, 65, of Havelock, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Carolina East Medical Center.
Bruce was born on June 7, 1957, in Cobleskill, New York, to the late Ervin and Kathaleen Johnson. He loved the great outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing, or just enjoying the beauty of nature. He was also very handy and enjoyed building and creating amazing woodworking pieces. Bruce will be remembered as a loving husband, and wonderful father and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cynthia Johnson of the home; daughters, Jackalynn Johnson of Havelock and Jessica Gallagher and husband Tim of Cobleskill, NY; son, Jeremiah Martin-Johnson and husband Kenny of Cobleskill, NY; sisters, Judy Slater of Melbourne, FL, Vickie Porter and husband Roger of Middleburg, NY, and Peg Coon of Cobleskill, NY; grandchildren, Eli Keneda, Ian Keneda, Cindy Keneda, Hayden Johnson, Aleana Johnson, Dylan Gallagher, Brody Gallagher, Keygon Gallagher and Grady Gallagher; and furry friends, his dogs, Prissy and Homer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Johnson.
