Ancil W. Jones

C.P.O. Ancil W. Jones, Retired, 62, of Havelock passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Carolina East Medical Center.

His memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, November 5th, at Life Point Church in Morehead City, officiated by Pastor Ray Conner.

Ancil was born on November 18, 1959, in Alliance, Ohio to Clifford and Mary Ann Jones. He married the love of his life Nydia Yvette Jones on July 4, 1980 and spent 36 wonderful years together. Ancil was a U.S. Navy Corpsman for 20 years, who proudly served his country until his retirement. He was an active volunteer at the Make a difference food pantry and was a member of the veteran organization, Team Rubicon Disaster Response. Ancil lived his life to the fullest, he enjoyed camping, video gaming, and all Puerto Rican food. He also was a realtor and a member of Life Point Church in Morehead City. Ancil will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughter, Julie Jones (Amber) of Havelock; son, Christopher Jones (Kristen) of Havelock; sister, Lisa Abraham (John) of Morrow, Ohio; brother-in-law, Frank Todaro of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Jeremy, Makai, Penelope, Mona, all of Havelock; and nephews, Alex, Avery, and Ashton Abraham.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Jones.
