Alberta Mann Reed, 94, of Morehead City, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023, at Crystal Bluffs Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
A graveside service for Ms. Alberta will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, May 25th at Amariah Garner Cemetery, officiated by Rev. David Price.
Born in Carteret County, North Carolina on March 1, 1929, at the beginning of the Depression, her long life witnessed countless changes and advancements beyond what most could imagine. Ms. Alberta was the daughter of the late Charles and Dora Jones and the devoted wife of her late husband, Harry Reed, who passed away in 2008.
