Formaly of Hobucken. I loved this man, he was a true man of God and a man on my level, we could sit and talk for hours. We were fishermen and understood what we were talking and mostaly laughing at some of our past things we did. We all have questions of why this man of God was called Early from this life. One day we will know. He had a nice and good family, which I met.

Mrs. Bernice, We are so sad to hear about Rev. Johnny. He was very special to Murray and I and we both regret not visiting you sooner. My faith has grown by leaps and bounds since he first married us and I often go back to how instrumental you both were to showing me the love of Christ! I will never forget the night that Mom was so sick in the hospital and almost died. You had stayed with us and just left when she took a turn for the worse. I don't know how you knew but you came back and stayed with us and prayed. I know that because she survived God heard those prayers!

There is no doubt that he has gone home with the Lord and he will hurt no more. The angels are rejoicing and welcoming him! We love you both and wish you peace and comfort that only God can give you!

Love and prayers,
Paula & Murray Gilgo

Dearest family of Johnny. He was a true friend of mine. Because I was in a serious auto accident in Dec.'06, our mutual friend, Ms. Francene, kept Johnny informed of my progress. Please notice I said, Johnny, because we were close friends in "Atlantic High School", grades 1-3, then in the 7th grade together.(By then, E. Carteret had just been built, so were in an elem./ midddle school by then!)
Family, you are in my & my families' prayers...and Johnny, I want to sit and dine with you soon.
Jonnny, I am crying that you've left us but rejoiceing that cancer nor any disease is causing you any harm/pain at this time. Sincerely, Al Cook
