Terry Gibat, 57, of Newport, died Monday August 13, 2012 at his home.
A memorial service will be held by the family 11:00 am Saturday August 18, 2012 at Glad Tidings Church with Rev. Tim Marriner officiating.
He is survived by his father Henry Gibat of Newport: four brothers, twin brother Arnold Gibat of Georgia, Henry Gibat Jr., of Indiana, Ricky Gibat of Tennessee, and Paul Gibat of Arkansas: a sister Greta G. Vinston of Morehead City: a daughter Charity Weaver Jackson of Laurinburg, NC: two grandchildren: and significant other Betty Gambrel of Beaufort.
He was preceded in death by his mother Lilian Gibat.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Glad Tidings Church Counseling Ministry 4621 Country Club Rd. Morehead City, NC 28557.

Greta, Durwood, & Family, I just found out about Terry. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I will keep your family in my prayers, and if y'all need anything, please let me know.
