Mary Schoonfield, 91, of Cape Carteret, died Thursday August 2, 2012 at Croatan Ridge Nursing Facility.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm Tuesday at Cape Carteret Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Clubb officiating. Interment will be 2:00 pm at Coastal Carolina Veterans Cemetery.
She is survived by a sister-in-law Ethel Hawryschuk of Pompton Plains, NJ : neices Karen Clarke of Cape Carteret, and Donna Hawryschuk of Paterson, NJ : nephews Ken Hawryschuk of Wayne, NJ, William Harris of Fairlawn, NJ, and Robert Harris of Livingston, NJ: several great nieces and nephews: dear and close friend Joyce Stanley of Swansboro, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hiram L. Schoonfield, and her parents Pantelmon and Katherine Hawryschuk.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
